Pregnancy is a brief yet profound time in a woman’s life, when she embodies the life-bringing Goddess. Preserve your divine shape in a mosaic sculpture. With Krista, design a treasure to grace your wall or garden. The design can be whatever inspires you: a flower or symbol, your own family china, a photo of the baby under clear glass, or a blessing. Usually the designs are excecuted in art glass and mirror over concrete and sealed for outdoor use.
The concrete cast can be made from any plaster cast, either prepared for you by Krista now, or previously made by someone else. (If you are pregnant now and live out of the Bay Area, you might purchase a plaster belly cast kit, have it made, and ship it to me.) The price for this original piece of art ranges from $850 to $3500, depending on design complexity and materials used.
